This Privacy Policy explains how Ironwood Software LLC ("Ironwood," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use PitScout (the "Service").

The Service is intended for users in the United States but may be accessed globally.

We display advertisements to non-subscribed users. Advertising identifiers are used solely to serve, limit, and measure ads. We do not build user profiles for behavioral advertising. Advertising identifiers are used in accordance with platform policies and user privacy settings.

1.3 Location Information

We use your device’s location at check-in time only to verify proximity to certain places and prevent fraud; this location data is not stored with your check-ins. Location data is stored only when you choose to propose a new place and confirm that you are at that location, in order to accurately establish the place’s location for use by others in the PitScout application. We may adjust a place’s location to reflect official or authoritative sources.

Location visibility is controlled by your visit privacy settings and is not stored or publicly displayed by default.

We share limited information with advertising partners to display ads to non-subscribed users and to measure ad performance. This information may include advertising identifiers and basic device information.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal data for cross-app behavioral advertising.

We use storage technologies necessary for authentication, core functionality, and ad delivery. We do not use cookies or similar technologies for third-party behavioral or interest-based advertising.

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals in a special way.

We retain information as long as necessary to provide the Service and meet legal obligations.

You may limit ad personalization through your device settings (such as resetting or limiting your advertising identifier). Subscribed users do not see ads.

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is completely secure.

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
